Kazakhstan plane Crash: Chilling last moments of the ordeal

A horrifying tragedy took place near Aktau that stemmed from the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane which killed at least 38 people, while 7 people were fortunate to get out alive. The incident unfolded while the aircraft attempted an emergency landing at 3 km distance from the Aktau airport. . Medical assistance is being provided to these individuals while emergency services look into identifying further details pertaining to the incident.

A video filmed by one of the people onboard and posted on social media carries a great emotional charge when the flight crashes. A person onboard repeats “Allahu Akbar” (God is great) as they notice the plane is about to crash.

Screaming and crying of the passengers to the cabin crew is also accompanied by the video that shows yellow oxygen masks hung over their heads. Furthermore, in the background the seatbelt warning beep was also heard which added a serious flair to the frightening experience.

In another video that was apparently taken after the crash, the ceiling panel of the airplane was upside down while many panic-stricken passengers screamed for help. Such images alone illustrate the in-flight nightmare very vividly.

According to the AZERTAC , Azerbaijan State News Agency , the “black box ” from the crashed Embraer 190 passenger plane, operated by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), was recovered near Aktau . The State Commission, established under the directives of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to investigate the causes of the plane crash. Many world leaders including Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Türkiye expressed his condolences in connection with the crash.
