ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule Announced

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the schedule of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, which has been missing from the cricketing calendar for eight years. The event will be taken place from 19 February to 9 March, and Pakistan and the UAE have been confirmed as hosts.

This is going to be an eight-team event that promises to be filled with exciting cricketing action since every match will be in the run for the much-desired Champions Trophy white winners’ jackets. The matches are scheduled to be played at venues in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi in Pakistan, with the neutral venue in the UAE being the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Tournament format and key fixtures

There are two groups in this event :

  • Group A: Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, and Pakistan
  • Group B: Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa

Knockout Stage

The semi-finals will be played on 4 March in Dubai and 5 March in Lahore, while the grand final will be played on 9 March in Lahore. However, it is worth noting that if India reaches the final, it will shift to Dubai to accommodate the fan base.
