PAK vs WI 2nd Test 2025: Noman Ali Becomes Fifth Pakistani Bowler to Take A Test Cricket Hat Trick.

Multan, January 25, 2025 โ€“ On the first day of the second Test match against the West Indies in Multan, the Pakistani left-arm spinner Noman Ali made history. At 38 years of age, he has become the first Pakistani spinner to get a hat-trick in Test Matches. He put on an unforgettable performance that saw Noman Ali’s team restrict the West Indies to a total of 163 runs in their first inning.

Noman Aliโ€™s Historic Hatrick

Noman Ali completed his hat-trick in his second over, which was the 12th over of the West Indies innings, by taking three dismissals in a single over. He dismissed Justin Greaves, Tevin Imlach, and Kevin Sinclair on consecutive deliveries.

A Record-Breaking Feat

With his achievement, Noman Ali has become the oldest Pakistani cricketer to mark a Test hat-trick on record, which was completed for the first time by Waseem Akram. Now returing at the age of 38, Noman contradicts all previous record holders in the age category for Pakistani players. Naseem Shah is known to be the youngest bowler to achieve a hat-trick, having done this at 16 years of age, and holds a different set of age-related categories.

Pakistan is already in control as the West Indies were all out for 163 in 41.1 overs. Noman Ali took 6 wickets for 41 runs in 15.1 overs. Gudakesh Motie was the top scorer for the West Indies with 55 runs, while Jomel Warrican remained not out on 36.
