Cricket and everything that will happen around it may interestingly go to pursue Olympic success, which calls for shifting the main concentration towards other formats. More diversified efforts, proper planning, and nurturance of talent from each state should take the center stage in meeting up India’s long-term vision. Conclusion This victory of India against South Africa in T20 is a step in a new direction. This win has brought hopes and questions about India’s future approach in cricket. Although T20 brings in fresh young talent and diversity, Test cricket would require a similar refreshment if India is to become a balanced force in the cricketing world.
