He died at a hospital in San Francisco after battling heart-related issues on December 15, 2024, surrounded by his wife, Antonia Minnecola, a Kathak dancer and teacher, and the couple’s two daughters. A loss of this magnitude leaves a gap in the world of music that can never be filled; all fans and fellow artists are in mourning over his death.
